PractiMan has taken part with the “El ABC Que Salva Vidas” (The ABC That Saves Lives) association to train thousands of children through different projects. “El ABC Que Salva Vidas” is a non-profit organisation whose aim is to increase awareness of the chain of survival and Basic Life Support (BLS) in the regional community of Navarra in order to achieve improved survival from sudden cardiac death.

The Association was created in 2010 by medical professionals from the Navarra-Osasunbidea Health Service and Government firefighters due to the need to deal with the general public’s lack of awareness in life support techniques and, the subsequent poor survival rates. To do this, a community project was designed that included the school community, the first responders (police), localities and municipalities and the general population. This project was supported by the Regional Government of Navarra through its Education and Health Councils, which took charge of implementing the CPR training with the PractiMan manikins in all the schools of Navarra.
