PractiMan started its collaboration with the German foundation, Björn Steiger Stiftung, on an initial campaign to provide CPR manikins to raise awareness and for training in German schools. The foundation’s project began in Berlin, and it has gradually been extended to cover the rest of the country’s regions.
During the period 2010 to 2013, this one and more CPR projects were successfully carried out throughout the whole German territory. Subsequently, in June 2014, the German Ministry of Education published the obligation for including CPR as part of the curriculum for students in the 7th Grade in all German Federal States. This recommendation was supported by the Council of Anaesthetists of the BDA, DGAI and the SDA. From that point, PractiMan has taken part as the provider of CPR manikins to different official bodies in order to equip all German schools.
